Using 25mmand 30mm Ronstan blocks to reduce rope cross over friction – this 8:1 system is perfect for ILCA 4 and 6 sailing. This 8:1 system gives you the ability to replace any item should you find wear during prolonged use. It’s common for the primary that is passed through the downhaul/Cunningham eye to wear on the gooseneck bolt.   This primary line is a spare part and is easy to replace as its only cow spliced onto the Ronstan Lashing head block when its time for a refresh.
